Jacques Daniel
Jacques is the founder of Kolbe Media. What began as a college dream to use the media for the good of the Church and the salvation of the world has become a reality through the generous talents God has given. Jacques graduated from Black Hills State University in the beautiful hills of South Dakota with a degree in Mass Communications. In addition to his design work, Jacques has 8 years (and running!) experience as a professional photographer and enjoys his time behind the lens. He has also been a full time youth minister, only recently taking leave of this position to devote his attention to Kolbe Media.
Jacques and his wife Annie live in the thriving metropolis of Rapid City, South Dakota. There they are involved in the adventure of homeschooling their four children Max, Philip, Tess and Ellie. As a family they are fans of good music, great fried food and trips to California to visit family. They are zealous in their pursuit of Christ and making their home into "a seedbed of vocations." If you ask the kids what dad does, they will say they don't know but that he gets "lots of mail and knows lots of priests." That's pretty cool.
Even when the computers are failing and deliveries are late, the Daniel's can't help but think of St. Maximilian and his brothers bent over an ancient printing press. They set type by hand, backs aching, and printed until their hands bled. The good Saint would encourage them in their work as it profitted the Kingdom and the beloved Immaculata. Jacques and his family strive for the same excellence, spirit and goal. Praised be Jesus Christ!
